Gaspar Claus & Casper Clausen -
Live at St-Merry, Paris
Three songs recorded live at ’Eglise Saint-Merry’ in Paris (Polar Festival), April 2019.
Facing each other, facing the unknown, the fragility, the moment, Clausen’s voice dances with Claus’ strings, moving together, moving apart, fueled always by curiosity. Sweet, Deep & Long are songs born from the moment, a cold April night in Paris at the Saint-Merry next to Centre Pompidou, a musical conversation between Gaspar’s cello and Casper’s voice.
The duo Gasper Claus & Casper Clausen put out their their first album “Claus & Clausen” in 2016, and over the years and through concerts such as this, they've developed a mutual understanding, a language that allows them to improvise fluently, referencing a universe completely their own.
